Dr. Matzura is especially interested in intensive cardiac care and in womens cardiovascular problems. She is active in developing specialized education programs for patients and physicians-in-training in the critical care and coronary care units, where she is the medical director. Dr. Matzura joined the faculty of Midwestern University and the medical staff of the St. James Hospital and Health Center, Olympia Fields in 1987 after completing her cardiovascular training at the University of Health Sciences, Chicago Medical School. She is also on the medical staffs of St. Margaret Mercy Healthcare, and Community Hospital. In her rare free moments, Dr. Matzura enjoys reading and cooking.
